DEN Los Angeles Chapter's Inaugural Event

You are invited to the long awaited DEN (Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network) Southern California kick-off meeting and $50,000 business plan competition workshop. This event will be held in downtown LA. This is an opportunity for Dartmouth entrepreneurs (seasoned or aspiring) and service provides to network.

At this meeting nominations will be sought to fill DEN LA board positions.

Guest Speakers:

Tuck Prof. and DEN Founder Gregg Fairbrothers D'74 will join us to present the $50,000 Tuck Business Plan Competition, a new initiative calling for business plans submitted through various DEN city chapters to be entered for a showdown in May 2009 at Dartmouth. Bring your business plans and discuss them in a workshop setting with VCs and entrepreneurs.

LA-based entrepreneur, seed-stage investor and author William L. Robbins, D'83, Founder of Convergent Ventures, will share thoughts from his book, "Seed-Stage Venture Investing: The Ins and Outs for Entrepreneurs, Start-ups, and Investors on Successfully Starting a New Business."
