|Job Description||We are looking for artists and coders who have an interest in virtual reality development. Applicants will be working in an experimental lab where we explore the application of VR/AR, 3D printing, photogrammetry, motion capture, and other edge technologies to interdisciplinary research and teaching.
Students applying for this position should have an interest in learning new languages and software, and be willing to spend time researching problems to better understand and solve them. Part of this position's role will be exploring technologies for which there is little local expertise and teaching others how to use them. The processes developed will also need to be documented, so strong communication skills or technical writing ability is a plus.
For developers, familiarity with C# is required. Experience using Unity3D is ideal. For artists, a background with 3D modeling and texturing is required. Please include a current resume describing your relevant experience when you apply.
